Maryam Chehrazad started this project based on her personal experiences. She began as a volunteer in a children’s cancer hospital in 2008 where she leaned the value of educating young children and their thirst for understanding of the world.
Years later, in 2016, she joined United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs as a PhD student of international environmental law to work on marine biodiversity and ocean pollution. Studying and working in this area and her background of working with kids, led her to a very important and life changing decision.
We should start teaching and empowering our younger generation if we really want to make a difference in the world. Education of children from an early age is the most important tool that can be counted on in these epic times.
In 2018, she decided to share her idea for writing a series of children’s books with a friend who also happened to be a skilled children’s books illustrator. Believing in the same message was the start of this beautiful journey and now we are ready to share our works with you.
